Korean Snack - Tteokbokki

pertama kali nyobain jajanan tteokbokki ini, rasanya unik banget! sayang terasa kurang enak di lidah aku..

bumbunya juga terlihat encer banget, beda sama yang aku lihat di drama korea atau reality show korea gitu.. ><

Jadi Tteokbokki ini isinya:

Rice cake

Fish cake

Kubis

Bawang Bombay

Telur rebus

Biji wijen atau sesame seeds

terus semua bahan dimasak dalam saus gochujang yang rasanya asam manis.

tekstur dari rice cake sendiri lembut, kenyal, dan plain / anyep atau sepoh ya kalau orang jawa bilang, semacam cireng gitu kali ya teksturnya cuma ini lembut dan ga ada rasanya.

overall I dont really like the taste, but I love the fish cake! :3

mungkin kalau bumbunya lebih kental dan lebih pedas lagi enak kali ya.. *dasar doyan pedes*

That day the weather was really bad, and I'm gonna flight normally at 17.50 but due to the weather getting worse with storm and heavy rain, my flight got delayed at 20.50.

Me and my friends decided to go to the airport together, so we gathered at my home.

At the evening, we just came at Juanda airport by Taxi Rp 24.000/person. then checked in  and paid the airport tax Rp 40.000

We waited in the waiting room, that's way tiring day because of operational reasons my flight with BATAVIA AIR one more delayed till about 23.00. (on that thay there was people demo they just didnt want to wait again. this one is really exhausting).

Finally at 01.00 we arrived at Bell Air Hotel by Taxi each person Rp 22.000. 

*PS : the Lombok airport's in Praya and the hotel we've stayed was in Cakranegara.

we went to Pura Jagatnatha Mayura by CIDOMO (Cikar Dokar Motor - a lombok's traditional transportation using horse) Rp 2500/person. Pura Mayura ticket is Rp 5000.

After we took picture and walked around, we decided to go as we already planned.

the second destination was Narmada Real King Garden (Ticket Rp 5000) then we had lunch at Sate Suranadi which their main menu is Sate Bulayak Rp. 15.000 and Es Kelapa Muda Rp 3.000.

we went there (2nd and 3rd destinations by Public transportation Rp 7.500/person -nego).

Starting this day with delicious Lombok food, Nasi Balap Puyung Rp 10.000 then we went to PINK BEACH at East Lombok, but that day heavy rain all the way to pink beach. we went there by public transportation Rp 45.000/person (actually it was for 3 destination along with Otak Kokok Waterfall and Kuta Beach, but we have no time to go there due to the way to pink beach was soooooooo far and almost unreachable).

At evening we back to hotel but before back, we got our lunch plus dinner at Praya Pecel Lele Rp 10.000/portion. Bought 2 durians Rp 5.000/person then we took a rest.

Three Gili's map

at the early morning we went to Gili Trawangan by travel Rp 35.000 including the boat across the sea from Bangsal harbour to the Gili Trawangan.

we have breakfast at Bunga-Bunga Cafe (foreign restaurant) Rp 7.500/person we're dealing with just 2 menus, chicken fried rice and french fries for 5 girls *wow.

at the Gili Trawangan we're having so much fun!!! playing with water, sands, eat a Gili Gelato Rp 10.000/scoop, rent a bicycle Rp 25.000/half a day,  and taking so much pictures.

Having lunch at local food restaurant Ayam Taliwang, the menu we choose was Nasi Campur plus Ayam Taliwang and kerupuk udang Rp 13.000/portion.

at noon we back to Bangsal harbour Rp. 10.000 and we picked up by car along with grandfather of my friend we went to Malimbu Sunset Point and Senggigi Beach (for free! yayyyy!!).

the night we hang out at Alun-Alun Udhayana and Mataram Mall, then have dinner pecel Lele Rp 15.000/portion.

Bought 2 bottles of mineral water Rp 5.000 then back to the hotel by Taxi Rp 2.000/person.

enjoy our breakfast with the local food, only Rp 5.000/pack. we went shopping at Cakranegara traditional market and Fortuna Agung to buy some gift like T-shirt and Pearl (Lombok pearl is well-known) for beloved family and friends (the cost is optional, it depends on the person), then we went to Phoenix Home-made Food bought some snacks which made by seaweeds like candy, and dodol. We went there by CIDOMO Rp 7.000/person. 

At night we went outside and have dinner Sambelan Telur Rp 8.000/portion.

breakfast plus lunch Rp 6.000/pack.then today we spent outside, shopping all the time. bought a tiramissu cake and cheese cake Rp. 15.000/person.

we closed this day with dinner at RM Taliwang khas Pak Udin and ordered  Ikan Bakar, Ayam Taliwang, Peleching Kangkung etc Rp 26.000/person (depends).

do you agree with me girls? even it's so old fashioned but still kinda cute and sweet! :3

Sending letter is way more meaningful to the receiver, because every words said inside is your truely feeling that you want to share with the one who accept your letter.

It's so private so none know and it's kinda romantic if you're a couple to send a love letter to your pair.

you're hand-writing has the "art" inside, even if it's ugly it still look great and gorgeous.

to me, sending LOVE LETTER is old but gold, and everyone would love to have it. ♥

Memories about RSBI SMAN 15 Surabaya

entah harus sedih apa seneng ya RSBI mau dihapuskan karena akhir-akhir ini lebih banyak berorientasi ke "duit". padahal "Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional di SMAN 15 Surabaya" cukup bagus, dengan penerimaan siswa-siswi melalui test internal, nilai UN yang tinggi, dan hasil test TOEFL harus min 450. Juga rata-rata alumninya (angkatan aku yaitu angkatan 2010 *lulus pada tahun 2010) diterima di PTN maupun PTS yang cukup bonafit dan terbaik di Indonesia sebut saja ITB, UI, UGM, UNAIR, ITS, UB, Universitas President, UBAYA, dll. Ada juga teman-teman saya yang melanjutkan study ke Belanda, Singapore, Australia, dan Jerman.

Banyak teman-teman angkatan saya yang sangat mahir berbahasa Jerman, selain karena sekolah saya dulu sangat berkembang dengan menggunakan Bahasa Jerman sebagai bahasa asing juga terdapat berbagai fasilitas seperti Summer Camp dan Winter Camp yang diadakan di negara-negara yang berbeda tiap tahunnya, dan ini didapatkan dari hasil kerjasana antara sekolah saya dengan Goethe Institute yaitu PASCH (Partner Schulen der Zukunft atau Schulen:Partner der Zukunft).

 

Sekolah berbasis International Education sebenarnya sangat diperlukan untuk siswa-siswi yang ingin melanjutkan pendidikan di luar negeri, salah satunya dengan mengikuti Cambridge Examination yang memiliki standart soal ujian global, sehingga dapat diterima hampir di semua Universitas di dunia  tanpa melalui student college selama 1-2tahun terlebih dahulu.

Keuntungan menjadi siswa RSBI adalah fasilitas yang diberikan oleh pihak sekolah benar-benar sangat "memuaskan" seperti ruang kelas yang nyaman,  AC, computer, LCD di setiap kelas, full wifi, guru-guru pengajar terbaik yang mampu berbahasa Inggris -meski walaupun masih salah dalam pengucapan, setidaknya mereka berusaha berbahasa inggris saat mengajar-, fasilitas seperti Laboratorium Bahasa Inggris, dan Jerman, Laboratorium Komputer bisa dengan mudah diakses oleh siswa RSBI.

Sungguh saya merasa cukup bangga bisa "mencicipi" pendidikan di International Class SMAN 15 Surabaya, walaupun sudah akan dibubarkan dan banyak pro-kontra selama saya menimba ilmu disana, tapi kelas ini sangat melekat dan memberikan kesan sendiri di hati saya.
